Hi I am currently trying to get pregnant, i fell pregnant quickly with my daughter but it doesn't seem to be happening so easily this time, I've started to take more notice of my menstrual cycle to work out when i will be fertile and i have realized that i have now been bleeding for 13 days, it was very light but got a bit heavier today and am not sure if this is normal??

Hi Layla,
Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. Women are so different that my normal may not be your normal. You should really pay attention to your periods for the next couple cycles to see what "your normal" is. However, textbook nomal is usually between 5-10 days. You may not be that far off with a 13 day period but taking your time to find out may be helpful. Personally, mine is 4 days which is on the shorter side but just to give you an idea how different we all are.
