had sex. but I havent had my period but used protection?

I had a baby last year in july. and didnt have my period for over a year and just last april at the end of the month was the 1st ive gotten it. and i had sex in may and my period was suppose to come at the end of the month.
It was protected sex. (and sure that it didnt rip)
so why havent i gotten it?
and its june now, and ive notice spotting some what?(really really light blood)

is it because my period is still adjusting becuse i havent gotten my period in so long?
or whats the cause?

If you first period, since your baby was born, was in April, your cycle may be irregular for a cycle or two. You can take a home pregnancy test now, or wait a week, but if you used a condom, it is very unlikely that you would be pregnant.
