Had unprotected sex he didn't withdraw but i took my bc the next day but i missed the following 3days and had a light withdrawl bleeding on the 3rd day and had unprotected sex the day after it started and he didn't withdrawed what are my chances of becomming pregnant?

Hi Anonymous,

Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. Ususally, you should not be concerned if you have been taking birth control for over a period of time and I am not sure how long you have been taking birth control but you may be ok. However, sperm can live inside your body for 5 days and therefore, there is always that chance of possible pregnancy. Keep taking your birth control and you may have to wait to see if you miss a period.

Thank you for your response i'm on estrostep fe was on it for about nine months gave or take. Now should i be getting my period in the following two wks being that i had withdraw bleeding or will i have to wait another month?
