hand joints are darker

Hi :-) I am getting married soon but i am worried as my hands joints and elbows and knees are very black :-( ..why is that?? and i am not over weight also.how can i cure it and get even colour as soon as poosible....pls help me

You may have an issue with skin pigmentation that is causing these darker parts to the skin - a dermatologist can help you further.

You may have researched a conditon called Acanthosis Nigricans - a darkening of the skin around the skin folds. This also sounds like a possibility for you and not all women with this condition are over-weight, although that is common too. It is also common with people that have issues with insulin production.
