Hello and thank you for choosing EmpowHer,
This is a common problem among people with jobs such as hairstylists, assembly line workers, where the same muscles and joints are used every day for hours. The repetitive movements cause the joints and muscles to become fatigued and the cushion between your joints worn.
The best thing to do is to wear a wrist brace. Even though you do not feel the pain all the time your hands needs the support.
If you do not allow enough time to heal between work day, the problem can get bad enough to need surgery. So on the weekends or times between work, try to rest those muscles as much as you can. Use ice, massages, and a brace.
