A few weeks ago (I think) during foreplay my spouse asked if a bump he felt with his fingers was painful. I didn't feel a thing and didn't think much of it. Last week after we had sex I felt a little sore but wasn't sure if it was from sex or maybe I had cut myself while shaving. and since I'm over weight checking "down there" isn't a task I usually find time for. (getting out the mirror, bending every which way!) so I chalked it up to sex. On saturday while showering I finally felt this bump... it's a small HARD lump right on the left "flap". sorry for the laymen terms but this is kind of nerve wracking and emabarassing... I squeezed it and it HURT SO BAD... up until then it didn't hurt and I had never felt it. this bump bothered me all day and i finally googled my symptoms and came up with a ingrown hair or a blocked sweat gland... the tips said to soak in warm water and try to squeeze it out... I did that and it's still there. I had my spouse take a look and he said it just looked red.. he squeezed and i screamed and that's been my progress so far... we just lost our health insurance and i'm a full time student so going to the doctor is out of the question for right now. Can anyone offer advice?

like what I've had before. I actually had one on my lip the other day.I usually just wait a week or two then try and pop it while in the shower. They are like pimples but they take forever to get a head or don't even form a head, I got one to pop once and all was inside was puss and blood. Mostly blood.(sorry for the details) If it was an ingrown hair I couldn't get it because frankly I'm overweight too lol. I don;t know if this helps or not but yeah.

I'm not sure what that bump could be.

Does it fit any part of this description: https://www.empowher.com/share/sexual-health/learn-more-about-vulvodynia

Is there a free or low-cost clinic you can take advantage of? You might check with your local Dept. of Health to see if there is a clinic you can go to for help with this.
