Do you mean the estradiol pill? Are you using the Vivelle dot while taking the estradiol? Did your physician recommend this? Does your physician know that you have done this?
A red flag went up in my mind because estradiol is a form of estrogen in an oral form while the Vivelle dot is estradiol in a transdermal form (absorbed through the skin). Unless I am wrong, by using the dot and taking the pill, you are overdosing on estradiol (synthetic estrogen).
Unless your physician prescribed using both forms of estradiol, for a specific reason, do not use the two together.

Yes my DR. prescribed it because the Vivelle patch is not taking care of the symptoms all the way so she prescribed Estradiol in the pill form also to take. I think they get into the body different ways>
