Monthly I check the to feel the strings of the Mirena. I can't feel the strings!!
I've had alot of problems since it's been inserted, most recently VERY heavy bleeding and passing LARGE clots!
has anyone "lost" theirs or has it migrated further into your uterus??
I AM READY TO CALL IT A DAY WITH THIS THING!!

An update re: Mirena...
My Mirena fell out!!!! Feeling much better indeed!!
I also had my levels checked and they were fine.. I do not want it back in. I'm waiting for a cycle to decide whether or not I will be having an balloon ablation. I had a period at the end of November and it was heavy then light, like a 'normal' period. NO more spotting, no more low libido!!
Hope this helps someone too~!

Well I had an ultrasound today and the tech said she couldn't see any IUD device in the uterus or elsewhere for that matter.
I am still spotting bright red blood, but no longer am passing clots.
I am not experiencing cramping now either..
Will keep you posted..

It's absolutely possible that it came out -- I had the same issue and have spent a lot of time reading from the experience of others. They tend to come out in clots, with cramping, or, sometimes, just to come lose and randomly be peed out. It's not always obvious when it has come out, so you should contact your OBGYN before having sex again! They'll probably do an ultrasound to see whether or not it is still in place. Hope this helps...I've got to make the same call in the morning!

Thank you so much for your response. I will definitely try to get in touch with her tomorrow. I tried today and the office was closed.
Like I said, I passed some big clots but I didn't feel anything "hard" in the clot. (I pushed on it with tp)... But if it fell out, to me that will be a blessing!!
I didn't have it for bc reasons, I had it to control heavy periods after my last child.
Today makes day 4 of the bleeding. It's not "as" heavy, still bleeding alot and I am no longer passing the large clots,
Thank you again for your response!!
Let us know how your appt goes!
