Members of the two-time WNBA Champion Phoenix Mercury, as well as members of its strength, conditioning and training staff, are opening up the discussion around fitness and is ready to answer your health questions. Are you looking for information on how to eat for energy (hey a professional athlete would definitely know that, right?). Have a question on recovering from a sprain? Your questions could be answered via upcoming video chats we’ll be doing with the Mercury in the coming months.

Hi,
I'm having ankle surgery next week, to clean-up some damage on my Achilles tendon, lengthen the calf muscle and to remove a bone spur in the ankle, and I'm looking for any advice on making the rehabbing as quick and easy as possible.
Also, any recommendations on avoiding damaging the tendon once again would definitely be appreciated, having managed to tear it twice in the last decade!
With thanks, Vicki

If I am going to combine bball training and a cardio (probably just a long run) workout, does it matter the order? And for weight loss, is it better to push it more on the bball or the cardio? Thank you so much!
