Hi i am 18 years old. I had sex in mid of Februrary, and i got my period in March (last month) but again i had sex last month but dont quite remember if i got my period before or after i had sex. I used a condom both times but the second time we did it (in march) the condom was riped and we stoped. We only did it for 5 mins and we were positive that he didnt come. Ever since the begining of this month i have been paranoid and stressed that i might be pregnant. My period is irregular, but still havent gotten it. I have literally pushed my stomach in just to feel if im pregnant or not. Ive been so paranoid that everywhere i have gone iv'e seen pregnant girls and it makes me worry. Friends tell me that it might be the stress or me being paranoid that my period hasnt come yet. I am too scared to even go take a pregnancy test. My mom tells me that i have gotten fatter, my hips wider, and also my breast look bigger (but arent those signs of me getting my period also?) Im just scared. I havent even been able to sleep at night and havent been eatig as much just by thinking about it.

Hi Bri,

Thank you for your question-- the condom ripping doesn't necessarily mean you will get pregnant. There is such a thing as pre-ejaculatory fluid which may or may not contain sperm in it and it occurs during excitability.

With this being said, although possible, your period being late can also be due to stress. Any amount of stress can and will delay your period. If your period is more than 4-5 days late, you can take a home pregnancy test to determine whether or not you're pregnant.

Keep us posted,

Thanks for your response.
This morning i took a pregnancy test and it turned out negative. Tomorrow i will take another one just to be sure but I feel a little better now by taking the test and knowing the results.
