Heat waves moving down both sides of my legs towards my ankles.

I've had heat waves radiating down my left leg from my knee towards my ankle for about 10 days and now it has moved to my right leg. Prior to the heat waves, I became aware of a tingling sensation on my left foot as though I was standing on a vibrating plate, or as though a mild current was passing through my foot. I still have this. I find now, 2 weeks later, that the heat seems to be increasing in my right leg. Not sure what this is. Please help.

I forgot to mention that the inner sides of my ankles have been swollen for about 10 days now before I felt the just described radiating heat inside, that hasn't abated yet.

Hello, Anon.

You need to have a doctor evaluate these symptoms. Are you a diabetic? These symptoms can be related to diabetes, nerve damage, or other underlying health conditions. No one over the internet can diagnose another person, we can share information and experiences, but your symptoms should not be ignored. I hope you'll see a doctor soon.

Keep us updated.

I was wondering what could be the cause and solution to a similar experience, that was why I googled it. Thankfully someone has had same experience. I felt heat sensations in the inner sides of my legs and ankles. Alarmed by the radiating heat I wanted to seek an explanation for it. I hope it won't get worse. Please I need all the information I can get on it

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  It can be cause by many things such circulation on both legs, an injury to your back or spine and many other. If the symptoms or feeling is getting worst you should not wait longer. You need to see a doctor, he might suggest having imaging test done before he can diagnose the cause of your symptoms. Hope this was helpful?

Best,

Daisy
