I don't know if you received my last question because my phone turned off. So me and my girlfriend has sex 3 days ago and she bled straight after it I don't know if it happened during sex. And until now she's still bleeding and having cramps that really hurts. If it's her period it's 3 days earlier, and she's also in a contraceptive called jab. Please tell me what's wrong with her so I would know what to do. Or at least know how to soothe her pain. Thank you

Guide

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
In most cases taking birth control can actually decrease menstrual cramps. She may want to talk to her gynecologist about switching to another kind of BC, not only to help with cramps but also to regulate her period better. Her menstrual bleeding is unrelated to having intercourse.
