Hi
I've been going out my mind with anxiety for the past 3/4 days and i really don't know why, i feel lethargic and i can't concentrate on anything i do. My bowel movements aren't that affected but i've vomited twice (which is not like me) and i've been avoiding food, is this some sort of bug? or is the worry and stress affecting me badly?

I haven't been eating well recently due to food aversions and stuff, I am 100% not pregnant as I'm not sexually active and haven't ever carried out a sexual activity. Since this I vomited, but it was just bile. I think this is related to anxiety as I am very on edge right now about college and home life (family illness). Do you have any tips to get over this?

Ginger is a spice which can effectively prevent nausea. Drinking ginger tea or another ginger beverage or some kind, can hence prevent vomiting.
For anxiety you may want to try separating yourself from situations that cause you anxiety. Treat yourself well. Do something you love, with someone you love. Or, take some alone time. Try to set boundaries. All these things can recharge your battery, and decrease anxiety.

Guide

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
A few possible causes could include but are not limited to:
-- the stomach flu
-- food poisoning
-- food allergies
-- pregnancy
-- stress/anxiety

Without knowing about you past medical history or general physical health, I can only suggest that if it gets worse (fever, diarrhea etc) you need to see a doctor.
