Hi Anon,
Thank you for reaching out to EmpowHER with your question! Anytime you have unsafe or unprotected sex, you are at a higher risk of pregnancy. However, for many women brown discharge is normal.
Many things can cause brown discharge, a precursor to your period, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, mediations, among other things.
If the brown discharge continues to last, I would suggest visiting a doctor. They will be able to help determine what exactly is happening. Also, if you are worried about potential pregnancy due to unprotected sex, the best way to know is by taking a pregnancy test.
If you plan to continue having sex and do not want to get pregnant, I would suggest getting on birth control or using protection. This will help ease many fears.
I hope this helped! Please keep me updated and let me know if you have further questions.
Best,
