Hi am Anna. me and my boyfriend have undearwear sex 1 day ago.but he didn not wear un undearwear .i am.and he ejaculated very close to my vagina.after half an hour i took emergency pills.is ther any possiblity of getting oregnant??? please help !!!

An emergency contraceptive is most effective, about 95%, if taken within 72 hours of unprotected sexual inteercourse. It works by preventing ovulation, which is when one of your ovaries releases an egg.

You took the pill within half an hour, so you should okay. Now, if ovulation passed, the pill could still prevent pregnancy by causing changes in your cervical mucus and lining of your uterus.

Anna, you will know if the pill worked if you have any vaginal bleeding within the next three weeks or by having your monthly period.
