hi can i get pregnant after taking postinor1 ,,i took it on the 70 hour before the 72 hour was up?

I had sex with my fiance on Monday night around 10pm, and I took the postinor 1 on Thursday night about 9pm,,can I still get pregnant?

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
Emergency contraception does decrease in effectiveness the longer you wait to take it. There is always the small percentage of people who still get pregnant after taking EC. But the majority of the time it effectively prevents pregnancy.
Common side effects of EC are: nausea, cramps, tender breasts and bleeding a few days later. These symptoms may mirror pregnancy, but is just side effects of the drug.
