Hi, I am 26 years old and am irregular with my periods. However I usually get them around the end of the month or beginning of the next. I would say within the first two weeks of the month at the latest.

Anyway, I had my last period 2/9 and ended 2/14. I had sex with my bf several times between the 14th and 20th. After that we still had sex however he would not cum inside me. However once or twice he may have accidently allowed a small amount to get in but I would urinate right after. Is it possible to push all the sperm out by urinating?

It's now 3/18 and no period. My breasts are a little sensitive, however I do not feel fatigue or cramps which I usually get before my period.

I have been stressing and so I took 3 pregnancy tests and they came back positive. Am I definately pregnant? Is it possible that it can show positive bc I am stressing and not really pregnant? How can I tell for sure?

Hi, my name is tiffanie and my last period was may 26 2009. Before I got my period I was ending my first and last depo shot! On the june 6 2009 I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend and in the upcoming week we did it 2 more times unprotected. 2weeks after that I'm experiencing sore breast on the sides and nipple darkening, nausea without vomiting, headaches, mild cramps, and lower back pain. I've had some diareha¿ which its normal. My next period is due tomorrow june 23 2009 but I feel like I'm goin to miss it! I know I can't tell if I'm actually pregnant over the net but I would like some type of advice! I'm going crazy!
Thanks!

hi, my name's Marie and im 25 years old.. usually my period starts on the 13th of each month or 2 days before and after.
anways, i had this feeling that im pregnant so i went to the doctor on the 10th of this month and had my blood tested. but it turned out negative.( i told her that i was late 3 days although it was 3 days before my expected period date)

usually before 1 week before my period, my breasts are like painful that i cant sleep on my tummy. now, it's the 19th of June, only my nipples are painful to touch and still i dont have my mens.

is it possible that im still pregnant even the test was negative? and when is the best way to take pregnancy test again. and if i am pregnant now, how many days now that im pregnant?

thanks a lot and more power!!

Hi, Marie. Welcome to Empowher!

OK, so we can pretty much write off the doctor's appointment and blood test, because it was really too early, right? Did she tell you to come back after a certain amount of time if your period doesn't start?

Yes, it's possible that you're pregnant even if the test was negative, simply because it may have been too early for the test to pick up on pregnancy hormones. But it's more likely that you're simply late, just because of the warm weather, stress, an increase in activity, or a blip in your hormones.

If you are pregnant, most home pregnancy tests will pick up on the HCG hormone in your blood when you are just a couple days late. So I would think by now, you would be fine to take an HPT if you want to. If that test turns up negative, then you're just late. If it's positive, you should call the doctor and go back for another test in her office.

Are you trying to get pregnant? Are you having unprotected sex deliberately? Or are you hoping that you are not pregnant?

Hi, Anon. Welcome to EmpowHer. Let's see if we can be a little help to you.

So you actually had two periods in May? Two full periods?

Are the symptoms you are having similar to the symptoms you had with your previous pregnancies?

Let's work this out both ways.
If we count the period on May 1st as your last "real" period, today is day 45, so you're about 15-17 days overdue for your period.

If we count the period on May 17th as your last "real" period, today is day 29, so you're not really "late" yet, unless it's by a day or two.

Either way, if you waited another day or two, a home pregnancy test should be able to give you real results.

How long are your cycles, usually? How many days usually between your periods?

And can you explain a little more about the blisters around your nipples? Did they just show up in the last week or two? Do they look more like blisters, or pimples? Or something else?

i am not having my period for 1 month and 10 days&i have been enjoying sex with my loverstill now.would be this is the reason for my period problem & no sperm has entered buut the penis has entered.would be this is the reason?or some major problem is there?

Anon, it is possible for sperm to be present in the man's pre-ejaculate, which is the fluid that actually comes out before he ejaculates. If you are using the withdrawal method of birth control, you should know that it has a 27% failure rate -- which means that of all the people using it, 27% of them -- roughly one in four -- get pregnant within a year.

Did you have unprotected sex around the time you would have been ovulating? Which probably would have been sometime between days 11 and 16?

If so, it is possible that you are pregnant. Since you are about 10 days late I might advise you to buy a home pregnancy test and check to make sure. There are a lot of reasons that a period can be late -- hormones, stress, etc -- but it's good to rule out a pregnancy once you're more than a few days late.

Please come back and let us know when you find out. We can help you figure out what's going on if you're not pregnant and unsure about what other reasons can cause a period to be late -- this thread covers many of them. Take care.
