I really don’t want to have sex with him in till the wedding night because we have been friend for so long almost 8 year and I don’t want to mass that up by bring sex into it know. Hi Anonymous,

Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. Your not alone, high sex drives are pretty common in women and I have also had a high sex drive since I was your age....I am now 34. Masturbation is a great way to deal with the sexless frustration and also exercise. I can relate to your situation since my boyfriend is in Afghanistan so there are many things we learn to take care of ourselves in many ways.

There is no simple answer to your frustration then self-control. It appears from your information provided, you are not out of control with sex. For example, you are not hooking up with people on the side in the meantime to satisfy your craving for sex. Exercise relases the same endorphins that sex does and this will help if you continue to do this daily. A short jog or anything to get your heartbeat racing will certainly help.

I hope this helps and keep us posted.

Missie
