At home laser hair removal on the face, I need help finding a product

I want to permanently reduce some facial hair by using an at-home laser hair removal kit. I've done some researching online and am having a hard time figuring out which is the best and most safe product to use. So far I've looked at the "TRIA," "No!No!" and "Scanning Laser x60."

Has anyone had any experience with home laser kits, or heard anything good about these brands or other brands? Or perhaps any tips on choosing a kit?

Please note that both products mentioned above - Tria and the Silk'n - are NOT intended for use on the face. I have done a bunch of research and those products are only meant for hair removal on parts of the body UNDER the neck, but nothing above - neck, chin, lip, eyebrows, etc. So far, no one has made an at-home product to laser-remove or permanently remove facial hair, which is a real bummer.

I bought the Tria home laser hair removal system and I love it! I've had it for a number of months and the hair under my arms and on my legs has stopped growing... You have not idea how amazing it is to never have to worry about shaving! When I bought it it was full price, but they've since lowered the price by $200.

Hi,
I wrote an article here at EmpowHer on Home laser products a while back that discusses the Tria and Silk'n

I have never used these devices. They each work on a different principle but women seemed to have similar responses to them.

Dear Anon,

I have honestly never heard of any of these-- I didn't even know you could do laser treatments at home!

By researching the names of the ones you've looked at. If I had to pick one it would be the Tria, which is the only FDA approved one. However, just because it is FDA approved doesn't mean it works. If you can try it out and return it if you are not satisfied, then I would go for it. If not, then you're doing the right thing looking to see if others have used it with success. I hope you find some help on the site with those who have used any of these. Good Luck!
