Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Some girls will lose their Hymen, during exercise or some are born without one.  A woman loses her virginity the first time she has sexual intercourse.  For those still with a Hymen, bleeding and pain can be experience during intercourse the first time.  But, pain during intercourse can also be experienced at any time- not just the first time.  So, the best way to get to know her, before engaging in any sexual intercourse. Is to communicate with your partner.
