ask: how can my husband and I have sex after his hip and pelvic fractures?

My husbands doctors put him on None weight bareing for at least 3 months. He had 3 plates and pins put into his pelvic and his hip joint was also fractured and rebuilt with plates. I am very worried that were not going to be able to have sex for a very long time. Are there any positions that would be safe to try? Should we even try?

October 24, 2010 - 8:49amThank you for your question. You should really consult his physician as he/she is the one that performed the surgery and will be knowledgeable about what he should or should not be doing. This question should certainly answered by the surgeon who performed the surgery.
