I had unprotected sex but took a plan b afterwards a few days later I got my period then I had unprotected sex again right after my period and took the plan B the next day...never got a period. I am now five months pregnant...could someone tell me if it just did not work or if i was already pregnant and had a period?

Guide

According to the website for Plan B,

How effective is Plan B One-Step®?

Plan B One-Step® works better the sooner you use it. If it is taken as directed within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure, it can significantly decrease the chance that you will become pregnant. About seven out of every eight women who would have gotten pregnant will not become pregnant.

So, one out of eight women will still get pregnant after taking plan. It didn't work for you.

Did this help?
