I'm getting tired of wearing makeup, and I wanna go for a more natural look and feeling. I don't love washing all the chemicals that are in face cleaners down the drain, so is there anything I can use that is good for the envoriment and good for me that isn't going to break the bank? Also, how do you get ride of dark circles under your eyes, again... naturally.

Hello

I'll start with the under-eye darkness. There is no real permanent solution to this. You can wear sunscreen to prevent more melanin from making them darker, and treat allergies if you have them, but there is no real solution unless you want to laser them or cover them with makeup. Anyone who says they have a cream that will eliminate them completely is just selling you cream.

As far as natural skin care, there are many products on the market now that are organic or made with natural ingredients, and for some things you can make products yourself. For instance, I know someone who makes a ton of her own skin care products, and she uses things like half a lemon with sugar on it as an elbow scrub (she says act like your elbow is a juicer), olive oil with sugar as a body scrub, honey and sea salt as a face scrub although that may be too harsh for you, that sort of thing. You can find recipes for some of these things online or on You Tube.

For specific products you can Google natural skin care or natural face wash, for example. The best thing you can do for your skin is put as little makeup on it as possible, and protect it from the sun. Use products for sensitive skin even if your skin isn't sensitive, because they tend to be gentler and less irritating. Find someone you trust, and read their product reviews. Talk with your dermatologist if you have one.

Part of good skin is genetics, which you have no control over, part of it is good diet with plenty of water because dehydration shows in your skin, and part of it is the care we are discussing. If you are healthy overall, it will show in your skin.
