True, Anon! CT could always ask him! The problem is that most people won't come out and tell the truth if they are cheating. It's pretty rare that a partner simply replies to a question about cheating with "why yes, now that you ask - I am!"

ct - there are signs that someone is cheating. Lots of signs, some very subtle, some more obvious. Is he spending more time away from home? Does he shower when he comes home, or smell of odors that belie where he has said he was? If he said he was at work or at his parents house, why does he smell like a bar, or of perfume - or his own aftershave/shower gel?
Does he hide his internet/email usage or quickly minimize his screen or remove his history? Is he initiating sex less often (although many people continue to have sex with their 'legitimate' partner)? Does he talk about another person more than usual? Does he take calls in privacy or delete his sent/received calls and texts? Does he hide his bank/ATM/credit card statement/receipts from you? There are many ways that signify cheating is a possibility but it's hard to confirm anything. You could hire a private investigator to trail him - this usually produces proof but it's an expensive process.
And one of the betters signs? Your own suspicions. Your own gut feeling.

Is your gut telling you that something is up?
