Can we get pregnant even if we have our period? (thats IF we think its our period)
Just want to know the difference or how would i know if its spotting not a period?? does it always come in the same time as the expected date of period? what would spotting look like?
Because i know women mistakenly think that once they bleed, its menstrual period already. thank you!

I was told to wait until the first day of my period and then I can start taking my birth control pills that day. On Monday, there was a little pink in my underwear and when I wiped so I assumed my period was starting..my period doesnt always start on the same day so I figured that was the start. I Took my birth control that day and now there is no blood and it is wednesday. It has only been two days and yesterday there was very little blood. I am concerned that I started my pill when I was spotting not actually on my period....I have never spotted before my period. Is this going to mess up my birth control or am I okay?

HI my boyfriend and I had sex without a condom on Friday (3/22) and I am on birth control and I waited two weeks to get a pregnancy test on Friday (4/5). it said negative. On Saturday I had a brownish discharge and then today Sunday (4/7) I think it's my period but it's more reddish/brown color. Is this my period or implantation bleeding?

Okay so I don't know what to do? I had my period feb17-21/22 and then me and my bf had sex on the 27th and the condom broke so I took a plan b 15hrs after and then I bled march 4-7/8 and I don't know if that was my period or spotting or what? It wasn't very long after my period an it didn't last long? Then I had sex last night (march 10) and it was unprotected..I was trying to figure out the 12-16 days after my period to see when I was fertile but I couldn't figure it out cause I didn't know if I was spotting I period from march 4-7/8?! Should i take a plan b or what should I do?!?

I had sex one time this past month on feb. 10 and I used protection correctly (condom, pills, vcf, and pull out ) I took a test the day my period was due it was negative and I started bleeding that night on time. But I have it in my head its spottin. I filled two tampons the 1st day and it was clotty like usual and today it was lighter but I cramped and filled a tampon and a half over 8 hours. Could I be pregnant?

Dear Anonymous,

You cannot be pregnant if you correctly used protection AND got your period when it was due. Some periods are lighter, heavier, longer, or shorter than others. If you tested negative, it means you aren't pregnant.

Best,

Rosa

So that test would've been completely accurate?

Me and my boyfriend had sex for the first time on march 1st, but it was literally about 30 seconds because I'm small down south, we were really stupid and didnt use a condom. He said he pulled out before he started to ... But I freaked out and took Plan B within the hour just to be safe. My period was supposed to come on March 5th but since plan b screws with you sometimes it said it could come late or on time, but on the 4th I was lightly spotting and it was brownish, then on the 5th until now I have been heavy to moderately bleeding but I can't tell if this is my period since I took plan b so close to having my period, would you say if its safe to say this is my period? I also had my usual period systems before and during this time. Since no one can know for sure if it my period, is taking a pregnancy test Friday the 15th a long enough time to wait to be accurate? Thank you!
