Hi SuzieQ

Thanks for your question!

A fairly simple blood test is all that you need, in general, to see if your hormones are functioning normally (your age and health status will be considered, of course).

If you feel there may be something wrong with your thyroid, or female reproductive hormones aren't as they should be, schedule a visit to your doctor and ask for a blood draw. It's a simple process and you should should expect your results within the week.

Do you suspect you may be entering perimenopause? Is so, join and chat in our special Group here: http://www.empowher.com/groups/Perimenopause

Wishing you the best,
