The doctor gave me six pills yesterday and said that it would go away with only those pills. Everything has gone away except for the odory discharge...

Dear Anon,

Thank you for your question. After the antibiotic treatment, you should be clear of BV. Please keep in mind that although ALL of your signs and symptoms may go away before all of your pills are gone, all of the medication must be taken as prescribed.

Also, remember that BV can recur after treatment and is particularly important to treat during pregnancy.

You should be free and clear of Bacterial Vaginosis by the end of your treatment.

Best of Luck!
