Hi, am 23 and a virgin, I have tried having sex for the past 4months but the hymen is still intact and no penis has been able to penetrate my vagina because i feel pain and tell him to stop, my vagina is only able to accommodate 2 of my fingers and I felt pain while trying to do dat, how long does it take in terms of weeks or months to be disvirgined cos penetration seems impossible and the vagina is still a lil tight.

Hello Anonymous,

As I mentioned, you must have the hymen surgically removed.

Hello Anonymous,

You have an imperforate hymen.

Imperforate hymen is a congenital vaginal anomaly. This means that you were born with a hymen without an opening completely obstructs your vagina. Failure of the hymen to perforate occurs during fetal development.

Surgical treatment involves the removal of the excess tissue and places sutures to avoid scarring and reblockage of the area.

Regards,
Maryann
