Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER.

What type of surgery did you have done? Was it a procedure to repair varicose veins?

What were you told upon discharge? Were you told how long to wear the compression stockings?

Call your physician's office and ask. Generally, the compression stockings may be worn for up to 10 days, but do not usually help beyond this time.

Regards,
Maryann
