Technically, you only really need to miss one pill although if the pill is made up on time then there is no extra risk. Missing one pill in the middle of your cycle is riskier than at the beginning or end but if it's only one pill, then the risk is minimal. There is no guarantee, however, that pregnancy won't occur.

If you miss a pill, make it up as soon as you remember and then take your next pill at your usual time.
