How often should someone with a colon cancer family history have a colonoscopy?

Every colonoscopy that I and my sister have had since our father passed from it, have been normal.

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  According to the American Cancer Society,  people at average risk. Should start testing at age 50.  Those with a higher risk, should start before age 50 and should continue getting screened more often.  It also, depends on any findings.  You need to speak to your doctor, on how often should you get tested.
