Forskolin is from the mint plant and has been used for centuries as a medicinal tool. It is recently trending as a weight loss supplement although there is no real evidence to show it works.

It's as safe as any other supplement, allergies notwithstanding. As to contraindications, each medication would have to weighed against forskolin ingredients to know if there is a known reaction - a pharmacist could help with that.
