Q:

How well am I protected if I missed a birth control pill?

I started my second pack of birth control pills Sunday. About 2 days after, my boyfriend and I had protected sex and he still withdrew. I forgot to take my pill Friday and didn't realize today (Saturday) when I took it at my normal time. I checked my pill pack and saw I still had the Saturday pill to take. I took that 2 hours after taking my missed pill from Friday. I've read taking pills and using a condom that results in no defects can be almost 100% effective. My question is am I okay if I pissed a pill?

Guide

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
It take more than a week of being off the pill to ovulate. Technically missing a pill will reduce its effectiveness but you will not ovulate from being late one day. For future reference, after missing a pill do not double up on the same day. Start where you left off, taking one pill at a time.
If you used a condom and he pulled out, that is a guarantee that no sperm entered your vagina. So not only was there no egg, because you were not ovulating also there was no sperm.
From these facts I would conclude that pregnancy is not possible.
