Your problem definitely sounds like GERD (Acid reflex) you should ask your doctor to be tested. The reason I say this is I have GERD and when I lay down I feel the acid moving in my stomach and going up toward my throat which my doctor told me that is advance stage of Gerd. Also when I lay down I feel sever internal heat but I don't have the sweating like I do at other times during the day I hope this helps

Since the last time I read comments on this problem, I found more information on what could be causing the problem for some people.
I found out if you taking medication like synthroid for thyroid problems could be the problem. Synthrooid side effects consist of internal heat and severe sweating. the other possibility is a problem with digestion, that is one of my problems when I eat food or go poop the sweating is severe. my doctor told me he thinks my problem is related to digestion or gerd. I am waiting to see another specialist for more test to be done that won't be til October
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE
If I find more info out I will post it

I also have the similar problem with internal heat and sever sweating I have seen specialist in a couple different areas checking for tumors which could cause severe body heat and sweating. all my test came out normal. I did develop another problem which doctors think it is linked to the internal heat.
In December I developed a severe problem with constipation where I couldn't relieve myself unless I took a laxative. The doctors took all the usual test and couldn't find the problem but they think I might of developed a problem with my rectum and anus muscles not working normally . If that is the problem it could be causing the internal heat/sweating because the body could be accumulating toxins from the stool that can't be released. SO IF ANYONE IS HAVING OTHER SYMPTOMS LIKE MINE check it out this could be causing the problem. I see another specialist in October

the person from Africa that is looking for solutions to internal heat
and sweating. I have additional information for you. Ask your doctor if you could have a tear in your anus. one doctor told me if you do that could cause constipation. because with a tear the stool is being blocked and than it seems to get hard and difficult to pass. I am hoping my October appointment will give me some answers maybe it will help others. my appointment is October 8th. If I get some new answers I will post it
GOOD LUCK ON YOUR SITUATION

I have been looking for solution to my own case until i took to internet and found this website. Anonymous, after going through all your post and updates, I must tell you that my own case is exactly like your own. Severe internal heat and constipation. My stool is as hard as stone and it takes me up to four days to visit toilet. I am having a very serious wound in my anus caused my constipation. Any time i relieve myself, i will feel pain in my anus all through that day. Most at times i took laxative in order to have soft stool. I am always scared of relieving myself because of the pain.

I am tired of visiting specialist because i am not financial buoyant any more. I will rely on your October result.

Thank so much
May Godbless you.

Hello everyone
I am returning to let you know about my October visit with the specialist regarding internal heat and sever constipation. I finally got some answers that makes sense. for the heat and sweating it is related to GERD or as you might know it at acid reflux. some people will get the internal heat and sweating if you have advance Gerd which is a lot more serious than basic acid reflux as for the constipation it has to do with a condition with the pelvic floor in my case my muscles get to tight and is causing an obstruction which blocks the normal release of stool. This is call Pelvic Outlet obstruction . the treatment is physical therapy you might want to talk to your doctor about it there is different types of physical therapy depends on the problem

GOOD LUCK

For the constipation, try and eat a lot of unripe plantain, either u blend it in a blender to make plantain pudding and eat with vegetable soup or u take it with beans, because I have almost all the symptoms and non of the drugs seem to work, after visiting different doctors and specialist,so I do my personal research online and my food is strictly plantain and vegetable, beans and take a lot of water melon, cucumber and cabbage, blending the three to form a juice and it really helps because excess drug intake can damage the liver,so I stopped taking drugs for now.

be careful when using fiber for constipation. in most cases it is ok but if you have a blockage what could happen is the stool will loosen up but if you can't release it due to blockage you will get a sour stomach and start throwing up bad. I know from experience I tried it when a doctor told me to and I ended up in the emergency room. they told me if a person does have a blockage don't use fiber
because it could be dangerous
