Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. I am glad to reached out to our community with your concern about a missed period.

Without sexual intercourse, you are not pregnant. However, the sudden increase in your level of physical activity is the most likely reason for a missed period. Stress can add to it.

Try to relax. The lower abdominal pain may indicate ovulation and that your period will start soon.

Daily physical activity is part of a healthy lifestyle. But, you should start out slowly and gradually increase your level of activity.

If you miss another month, please schedule an appointment with a gynecologist.

Regards,
Maryann
