3 years ago after the birth of my only daughter I developed gall bladder disease and the eventually had to remove my gall bladder. Last year in September I had a ovary torsion and I had to have it removed. My partner and I are trying hard to conceive, and nothing is helping. I went to the obstetrician and have undergone tests so far what has come back is that I have Hypothyroid, and am now taking thyroxin and I have Haemochromatosis and have to have my blood taken once a week because of the toxic amount of iron in my body. My question is... Is there any other 20 something year old women that can relate? I'm feeling very much like my body is failing me one organ at a time..

Yes, I have I am going to be having a HSG next week to see if they can find a block in the one Fallopian tube I have left. Also I'm on the waiting list for a laparoscopy.

Hi Anonymous,

Thank you for your questions and welcome to Empowher. I am sorry you are dealing with these issues. Have you talked with your OBGYN to see if there are any concerns about fertility?
