I am 60 years in Dec. Dr. told me I have HPV, had loop procedure second pap is still abnormal should I be thinking about having my uterus removed before I get cancer?

No, having a hysterectomy right now may not be necessary.

The procedure you had is called a LEEP procedure. This is done to take out abnormal cells in the cervix.

If you have not had a cancer diagnosis then it may be far too premature to have a hysterectomy.
