Hi freebird,
Sorry to hear that you're losing your hair. Sometimes this can be related to thyroid function,or it can be genetic-- or it can be a combination of both. If neither of your parents ever experienced hair loss, then it is likely not genetic and you may want to consider going to the doctor for proper blood work to see if it is related to your thyroid.
Major events or stressful events can also cause hair loss so if you are going through a major life event, this can also be a contributing factor.
I hope this helps. Please keep us posted,
Rosa
