Hi Anon

Thank you for your post!

Do you mean your pregnancy (hcg) levels dropped or your blood pressure dropped?

It sounds like you are newly pregnant - you may have had what's known as a chemical pregnancy. This happens around 5 weeks or so.  There is no such thing as being 3 weeks pregnant, as hard as that is to believe. Pregnancy is calculated from the first day of your last period so by the time your period is one day late, you are considered four weeks pregnant.

The sperm is able to fertilize the egg but the egg loses the pregnancy quite quickly. When this happens, a pregnancy test will show a positive sign, but there will be no growth of a fetus in the uterus. It's actually quite common, also called an early miscarriage.

This may be what has occurred. What has your doctor said?

Some good news would be that you are fine and the fetus is far too small to be seen on a scan.  Also, ask your doctor how many weeks along you are, medically, you can't really be 3 weeks along.

We hope to hear back from you!
