Hi Anonymous,
January 27, 2011 - 8:08amThank you for your question and for finding EmpowHER. Have you been to see an eye doctor? Do you currently wear glasses or contacts? Your eyecare professional can explain to you how the process for lasik or other eye surgery to correct vision would be performed, and also the cost involved. They also would be able to tell you if you are a good candidate any type of surgery, depending on many factors including your corrective vision prescription, and other things. If you have health insurance, or something similar, they would be able to provide you with a list of approved providers in this area of expertise.
