The first week of October I began to bleed heavily, with extreme fatigue and headaches. Often the pain was so bad I would vomit. I go to the health department for yearly check ups and birth control, so I called and and was told to make an appointment if it lasted for three months. Two months of the same issues going on I called again and made an appointment. The Dr did a pelvic exam and gave me antibiotics. Two weeks later I returned without any changes, another pelvic exam I was told that I had a mass coming out of my uterus, possibly holding open my cervix enough to pass blood continuously. I was told that there was nothing else they could do and was referred to Uva and was seen the last week in December. I was given sprintec after another pelvic exam. A month later I came back an ultrasound was ordered, and a general physician appointment (he sent me to an opthromogist because of the headaches (the day after he contacted me to inform me that he was referral to a neurologist, then a colonoscopy (everything was fine) digestive health ran a bunch of blood tests (everything within range)Another gyno appt and was given another round of antibiotics. Came back three weeks later without any changes, Dr reffered me to pain management and told me that they didn't know if the bleeding and pain were related. It is now the end of March and my bleeding has somewhat controlled by the mini pill, but still having pain and headaches. Yesterday woke up feeling more pain than usual, today it is worse. I feel the normal cramping but also stabbing pain. Had some bright red spotting off and on. I don't know what to do, my appointments are a month or so out, I was wondering if I should go to the local ER? Any advise would be helpful... Thanks, Kelly

Sounds like endometriosis or similar. I wouldn't go to ER but I would keep gyno shopping until you find a doctor to take it seriously.
