I everyday go for lunch with my friend. He says that a guy follows me everyday when we go for lunch. He even tells me that I see him too. But I don't remember any person whom I met the last day. I think this is a serious issue. My friend doesn't trust me. May be, I see that guy everyday but I don't remember. He says that I'm not loyal to him. I want to prove my friend that I'm not wrong. Please help me. Am I undergoing short term memory loss or anything else?

Are you having any other problems with short term memory?
Memory loss is often one of the first and more recognizable signs of dementia. Asking the same questions repeatedly, forgetting common words while speaking, and decreased ability to follow directions are other early signs.
If you're concerned about memory loss, see your primary care physician, who can conduct tests to judge the degree of memory impairment and diagnose the cause.
