I forgot to take my pill (second week) and had unprotected sex the next day. About 6 hours after that, I took 2 pills to make up for it. What are my chances of getting pregnant?

I'm seventeen and I've been on the levora pill for a couple of months. But I stopped for the month of Nov and got back on this month of Dec when I got my period.

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Anytime you miss taking your pills and have unprotected sex, your chances are higher. If you took the emergency pill as directed, this might help in lowering your chances of pregnancy. You will need to wait to until your period is due to know if you are pregnant or not. Emergency pills do have side effects such as changes to your next period, such as a longer or shorter, heave or lighter period.
