ask: I get a pain in my chest through my back and my left hand losses strength

this has happend one other time before. I get this sharp pain and it feels like its through my heart straight to my back and then I loss almoust all strength in my left hand...I can barley even make a fist! can anyone help me with this??? should I go to the doctor?

Thank you so much for visiting the website and for posting your question here. I'm sorry you are experiencing these sharp pains and other symptoms. I can see why you are wondering what is going on--I would be too!

So this has happened to you two times total, right? About how long does this last? What are you doing right before this happens?

If it were me, I'd make an appointment with my physician to get this checked out. Anytime I hear about chest pains I think it's better to be safe than sorry. The added fact that your hand is losing strength during these episodes makes me think a doctor's visit is in order.
