Hi Anon!

Thanks for your post!

How far apart were your periods? If you got one at the beginning of the month and then now, that's normal. The average period is 21-35 days and women can have an "odd" month every now and again for no reason.

Since you have had a tubal and are getting periods then pregnancy should not be a concern.

Your periods may be irregular due to perimenopause, the time before menopause sets in. This time can start as early as 35 or as late as 50. One of the first signs is irregular periods, sometimes followed by sleeplessness, fatigue, vague hot flashes and irritability.

You can read all about perimenopause here: http://www.empowher.com/condition/perimenopause

Please call your doctor if you have further concerns.

Best,
Susan
