I had hysterectomy done 7 years back, now I have suddenly gained too much of weight. Also my breasts have become swollen and painful

As we age, our metabolic rate decreases. We tend to put on extra pounds easily and the effort to lose the extra weight becomes harder.

When was the last time you had a general checkup either with your gynecologist or primary care physician? When was the last time you had a mammogram?

Consider scheduling an appointment. You should have a breast exam and mammogram to determine why your breasts are swollen and painful. You should be evaluated as to why you are suddenly gaining weight.
