Jolene,

Well that explains a lot. Sometimes with irregular periods, our bodies try to make up for not having a period one month by having a heavier period the next-- or in your case, twice in a month!

You can test for pregnancy if you'd like-- since you and your husband are having unprotected safe it's always good to make sure you're not pregnant and bleeding :)

All the best,

Rosa

Hi rosa :)

Thanks for getting back to me. I normaly get my period only every 3-4 months. so i get it and i will skip 3-4 month befor i get my next period. so this is something new that im getting my period 2 times in one month.

But yes we are kind of trying for a baby.

I did speak to my doctor and he ask me if im pregnant, but i dont know. Do you think i must take a test? Or is it just stress from work?

Hi Anon,

It sometimes happens that during a shift in menstrual cycle, you may have what seems to be two periods in one month. This is not very uncommon. If you start to notice a foul odor, however, make sure you go to your doctor just to make sure it's not an infection.

You mentioned not using protection-- are you trying to get pregnant?

All the best,

Rosa
