I had my period on the 8th of March. I had unprotected sex on the 18th of March. I took postinor 2 after 12 hours. I took a homeI a home pregnancy test and it shows positive. can I truly be pregnant.

Welcome to EmpowHER. It is possible that you got a false "positive" test result.

I suggest you wait at least two more weeks. See if you have any vaginal bleeding. Do not take Postinor 2 or any other emergency contraceptive in the meantime.

If you do not have any vaginal bleeding within the next two weeks, test again. Buy a name brand test. Check the expiration date. Test in the morning, using the first urine of the day.
