Hello Anonymous,
Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to our community with your question.
Postinor 2 prevents pregnancy by preventing ovulation.
Generally, ovulation occurs between day 11 and day 21 of the menstrual cycle. With a 30 day menstrual cycle, you would have been ovulating between September 18 to September 22.
When did you take the pill? After intercourse on the 17th or 24th?
If you took the pill before ovulation and within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse, you have the best chance that it would have prevented pregnancy.
If you do not have any bleeding, including your next period within three weeks of taking the pill, test for pregnancy.
