July 15th would be 23 days after the start of your last period, you still have time to get your period before testing for pregnancy. I believe whattoexpect.com suggested testing on the 15th if you are on a 28 day cycle and *some* pregnancy tests can detect the pregnancy hormone up to 5 days before your missed period.

However, a lot of women, including myself, are not on a 28 day cycle...I have a 34 day cycle and didn't even know it until I started to log my period dates. Even testing on the 20th put you right on the 28th day but if you truly believe that you may be pregnant I suggest you wait a little longer to either re-test or you get your period.

Best of Luck in getting that BFP!

Hi,
What is your question?

Were you expecting your period earlier in July, and wondering if you are pregnant? If so, how many days late is your period? Are you taking any type of birth control? Did you have unprotected sex since your last period?

I am trying to get pregnant and it's been a while. I guess I am anxious. Maybe I tested too early. I am a member of what to expect.com and they said to test around july 15 th I waited till the 20th but the test was negative
